Christmas is over!! And even though this were the strangest and probably the hardest Christmases I've had, it still turned up to be a really nice and homey days. BUT I'm not here to ramble about my Christmas dinner, the gifts I bought or made, or even the activities advent calendar I managed to organize for myself; I'm here to talk about what I did ALL DAY on Dec. 25th.
On Dec. 25th. is the morning when you typically open the presents Santa left for you the night before. So, naturally, my little brothers were absolutely going nuts with their new toys. After that, we all laid in our rather improvised couch and watched the first 5 movies of Star Wars. ALL. One after the other. With little breaks for food or fixing something, but mainly there were very few interludes.
We started following the order in which they were made. Episode IV - V - VI - I - II - III. Today, Dec. 26th. we finished watching Ep. III and next week I'm going to the theater and watching Ep. VII. I'M EXCITED.
I really liked the movies, and even though I don't think I'll turn into a die-hard Star Wars fan I'm really into it right now. My favorite movie overall (so far) is Ep. III, but I'm a sucker for the love scenes in Ep. II. And from the original three my favorite one is probably Ep. VI, but mainly because of the Ewoks. Too main street? Sorry!
Han Solo is the sassiest character ever and he does an amazing job lightening the mood. Padmé is everything an amazing strong female character should be, plus I love Natalie Portman. But, as you may expect, Anakin Skywalker is my favorite character by faaaar. There's so much to him, so much happens that you can't really hate him after knowing it all. It's kind of like Snape and Harry Potter, he named his son after him!
It's the most popular franchise of the world for a reason, and I'm very glad to find out that it's a good one. I still prefer my adored Lord of the Rings original Trilogy, but I have to admit I like Star Wars a whole lot.
May the force be with you!
(Too cliché?)

I actually have this postcard hanging on my wall since before I even saw the movies.
