Would you rather have a plan or improvise in your life?
Life is a series of unexpected events that slowly or abruptly stirs us into our path. You do have the ability to control how you react to those pop-up events that are thrown in your way, and you do have the power to try and stay on a base plan of how your life will be, but change always happens.
Being prepared for it, and especially, not being completely thrown off by change is what will allow you to move yourself to where you want to be after that giant wave just took you 20 miles off the road you were on. Maybe you'll find a new highway on your journey back, or a small street of opportunities you hadn't even considered, or even a town filled with people who will turn your life around and join you for many more road trips to come.
Whatever happens, have the main plan to focus on, but allow yourself to constantly change it, tweak it for the better and let it drive you to new things. Never letting it hold you back, but using it to push you forward. Or sideways. Who knows?
I definitely don't...
