I loved this book, actually I devoured it. It´s a pretty small book and most of it it´s pictures and inspirational quotes in big letters but still, with the amount of time I had to spare, I read that way too fast. And I absolutely love that!
I hadn´t been hocked with a book in a really long time, like months, and I loved having to take time out of my schedule because I just needed to read. Now. The way Austin Kleon writtes helps a lot too, he has a great way of looking at life has this thing you can totally get the hang of if you just try and go for it, don´t overthink it too much but also get out of that couch. He´s style, in writting and the way the book is presented, reminds me of my tumblr feed, as if someone had grabbed the best advices, lines, pictures and diagrams from the different people I follow, turned them all to fit one unified voice and printed it out with the title "Steal like an artist" instead of "Here´s the best of your tumblr feed, enjoy!".

The 10 tips he gives you to improve your creative thinking go way beyond just that, they actually tell you something about him and about the life lessons he has learned. But don´t get me wrong, it doesn´t qualify has a Self Help book and it does help you a lot to focuse on what you actually want to create. On another hand, it´s not like I disagree with the title, because it does present the idea that nothing is completely original and that everything is a remix of stuff that has been done before, or even that you must use those who came before you to bost yourself into something better, something they may have failed or missed to achieve, but I still feel like the book has a lot more content and a lot more advices or stories to tell besides that. Anyway, I can´t think of a better title for it (yet), so I should just leave that alone.
I´m on my way to read the next Austin Kleon book, it´s already in my house, I´m looking forward to it! It´s called "Show Your Work". Don´t dissapoint me!
