The sixth book in "The Mortal Instruments Saga".
I absolutely love the Shadowhunter world and It wouldn't be fare to say that I didn't like this book, it's just that it dissapointed me a little bit.
The book had too much preasure because it was the last one in the entire saga and it was one of those endinds when you feel like everything had a closure, most of the stories had that happy ever after ending, and it's not a bad thing, it's just one of those things that doesn't leave you dying inside (in a good way)because of how awesome the book was.
On the other hand, there were really great moments, and things that we all saw them coming but were rooting for them to happend anyway. The characters grew and changed so much during the six books, and I can actually say thay I like into what they've becomed, specially Clary, Jace and Izzy, they have to be my favorite ones. I never really liked Simon, at all, but by the end of this book I realised how important he actually was, and how amazing someone you weren't really paying atention to can be.
The book ends with this double side, one in which it gives you everything it had to give about the "Mortal Instruments" saga, and the other in which it opens you a hole other curiosity leading to the other sagas from the same Nephilim world, created obviously by Cassandra Clare also.
If you have never read or heard anything about the Shadowhunter's world then you probably have no idea what I've been talking about all along, but If you like that Fantasy-Dystopian-Mixed realities worlds kinds of books you will love this book, all of them anyway, although I do recomend you start from the begining because this books don't work that well by themselves if you know nothing about what happened before. Plus, in my opinion, I really like how the author Cassandra has this special way of writing that allows you to relate to what she is saying.
